Let's talk 35mm film
Every photo tells a beautiful story waiting to be discovered.
What is film photography?
Film photography is a slower, more intentional way of capturing a moment. Instead of taking unlimited digital images, film is photographed on a physical roll and developed after the session, giving each image a soft, nostalgic, and timeless feel.
Film has a natural warmth, grain, and imperfection that makes every photo feel like a keepsake. It captures the little in-between moments in a way that feels honest, emotional, and true to life.
Because film is unpredictable, no two galleries will ever look exactly the same, and that’s what makes it so special.
FAQ
How many photos will I receive?
Film rolls hold 24-36 "exposures" (pictures). Once the photos are developed, I will look through and send the best quality photos.
Every film session is different. You can expect anywhere from 10-20 photos from a 24 exposure roll and 10-30 from a 36 exposure roll.

How long are the sessions?
Film is super individualized. 1 roll of film can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.
With that being said, please plan around that time increment depending on how many rolls you desire!

Which roll will you use?

The roll I use will be based on the weather/environment of the photoshoot. Prior to the photoshoot, we will figure out your locations and discuss the roll options from there!

What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
Depending on the weather, it will be in your contract to allow for rescheduling.
Film favors light in most cases! However, your comfortability and vision is important to me.
